Description

This volume of chant brings together in one place essential chants to help parishes and choirs mark the changing liturgical year. Conveniently grouping the traditional Ordinary of Mass settings for each season with Marian antiphons, appropriate Gregorian hymns and other suitable chants, Chants for All Seasons is a treasury of beautiful music that will dignify and elevate the liturgy throughout the year. Newly-composed accompaniments support the singing of these chants and translations help both choir and congregation sing with understanding and skill. Chants for All Seasons is an ideal volume for those wishing to explore the Church's repertoire of chant and for parishes who wish to encourage singing of the music which has 'pride of place' in the Mass.
