I ask for mercy for my sins and for the gift of showing mercy to others. You said sinners will find your heart an ocean of mercy for those who seek it. I ask to trust in this and be truly grateful. May my gratitude for your forgiveness of my sins spill over into forgiveness for anyone who has wronged me.

By the wound in your heart, pardon the sins I have committed whether out of malice or evil desires.

My God, I offer you all my prayers, works, joys and sufferings in union with the Sacred Heart of Jesus, for the intentions for which he pleads and offers himself in the holy sacrifice of the Mass, in thanksgiving for your favours, in reparation for my sins, and in humble supplication for my temporal and eternal welfare, for the needs of our holy Mother the Church, for the conversion of sinners, and for the relief of the poor souls in purgatory.
