Pope Francis says that, like Mary and Joseph, Christian families can welcome Jesus, listen to Him, speak with Him, guard Him, protect Him, grow with Him; and in this way improve the world. The family of Nazareth urges all families to rediscover their vocation and mission: to make room for Jesus in the family, in each member: children, husband, wife, grandparents, in order that He grows spiritually in the family. Francis brings his practical wisdom and insights to bear on family life today: male, female, engaged, education, illness, poverty, death and suffering.
