The CTS Prayer Community

Introducing The CTS Holy Week Retreat:

As we enter into the holiest week of the year, walking with Jesus from His triumphant entry into Jerusalem all the way through to the darkness of His passion and death, before ending at the glory of His Resurrection, we’d like to invite you to join us for a Holy Week Retreat via email.

With the help of Fr Lawrence Lew OP’s inspiring words, beautiful photography, and his must-have booklet Lenten Devotions: Stations and Meditations from the Rosary Shrine, we will be contemplating the Seven Last Words of Jesus, which have been the subject of Good Friday meditations since the Sixteenth Century. We will be contemplating a different one each day next week from Holy Monday to Maundy Thursday.

It’s free and you can opt-out of the emails anytime.

Plus: You can also sign up for our newsletter, a fortnightly round-up from the CTS Blog, and Saint of the Day emails!

What are the Seven Last Words of Jesus?

“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
“Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
“Woman, behold your son.” “Behold your mother.”
“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
“I thirst.”
“It is finished.”
“Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.”
