This is surely THE book that all Catholics must possess. Congratulations to the Mid-West Theological Forum who published it. Any Catholic who takes Saint Pope John Paul's Call to Holiness seriously needs this as a constant companion. It lacks nothing: spiritual guidance, Latin, devotions. This is the faith, beautiful and intact. The very scent of heaven wafts from its pages!

What can I say? This wee book has it all and I love it!! It will be getting well used and would definitely recommend it to all Catholics. The prayers inside are wonderful but my favourite bits are the meditations on the Holy Rosary and the thorough Examination of Conscience for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. It is published by both the Midwest Theological Forum - Daily Roman Missal's publisher - and the Catholic Truth Society. I love the part How to be a better Catholic too, it has taught me a few things and gave me some ideas on my daily, weekly, monthly and yearly prayer life! Every Catholic should own one of these books, compact enough to go in your bag/case and binding is perfect with the ribbon marker complementing it perfectly!!

I have moved in to England from Brazil and needed to learn the prayers in english - that was why I purchased this book. It is really great, is very similar to a traditional little book we have over there called "Orações do Cristão" (in free translation: "Christian Prayers" - http://quadrante.com.br/livrariavirtual_detalhes.asp?id=174&autor=95&pagina=1 ). There is just only one of my regular prayers that I haven't found, which is the prayer to St Joseph after the rosary (then I looked online and found at this link - http://osjusa.org/prayers/st-joseph/after-the-rosary/ ). This is a wonderful copy, with good presentation and lovely images that illustrate the prayers. I loved it and recommend it!

This has to be the best prayer book available. Bursting with gems of spirtuality, including the new translation of the Mass, it is a must have for every Catholic! I have purchased copies as gifts for Catholic and Non-Catholic friends as it really is a treasury of faith.

This excellent handbook supersedes the ‘Manual of Prayers’ by MTF which is no longer being printed. The prayer book is beautifully bound and edited. Theological students and seminarians would do well to purchase a copy as an invaluable aid to their spiritual development. The handbook has the qualities of being brief, whilst at the same time substantial, it contains an indispensable collection of Catholic prayers: the text of the Mass is in English and Latin in the middle of the prayer book; Preparation for Mass; Prayers after Mass; Adoration; there are basic prayers; Midday & Evening Prayers; Stations of the Cross; Devotions to the Holy Spirit and St. Joseph and so much more. A must have for all Catholic families – a quality family heirloom. Dr James Scott, sfo.
